Out of State Buyers
- Will I have to register the
car in WA?
No, you take the car and pay no WA tax, only
local state
tax when you register it there.
- Or will I have to register
the car in my state prior to the trip (how)?
No, you get a temp permit for 45 days. This
permit is good until you register the car in your state.
- Please confirm that I will
need to get the car insurance prior to the trip?
You need car insurance. You can do that when you
pick up the vehicle (they can fax you info at our location).
- I am planning on purchasing
the car via Capital One or similar loan programs whereby I would get a
blank check up to a certain amount. Would I have to wait for the check to
clear to be able to take the car?
Capital one checks are fine... you would not have
to wait. Personal checks do need time to clear, but official bank
checks are fine.
Sure we take cars in on trade. We just need to
inspect it. At that point we make you an offer, and then take steps to
get the title. If you are planning to trade in a vehicle, be sure to
bring ALL paperwork you have on it (title, service records, registration,
etc).
- How easy is it to get to
your dealership from the nearest airport?
We are located about 25 minutes from SeaTac
International Airport. Taxi/shuttle services are available to our
location.
- If I do not get to make the
drive, how much would shipping the car to CA be?
Shipping a vehicle from our dealership
to Northern CA is about $450. Here to Southern CA is about
$550, all other locations very from $300-$1200.
